What Universal Law(s) Apply to Awareness?

Spirit shares I Ching wisdom.

I Ching 12 – Obstruction, follows Tranquility.

Times of peace never last?

It is the nature of yin and yang to interact
with each other. The seasons, too, play
this game, as do day and night. The tides
rise high and then slip back only to rise
again, before …

Does it all go on forever?

What?

Up and down, in and out, win and lose.

The natural order provides a background
for all life to learn to adapt. It’s
a beginning.

A beginning of what?

Higher education.

What does higher education have
in common with tranquility and
obstruction?

We learn to reach high, while we can.

To make hay while the sun shines?

Exactly.

That sounds great …

But?

How can we advance beyond narrow …

Or shallow?

Yes. Limits were surely designed
to be expanded.

What limits?

The limits of human …

Why only human?

Then, of awareness, creativity,
imagination, and consciousness.

They have no limits.

Then, if universal laws apply …

And they do.

Then, what universal law or laws
apply to the expansion of
awareness, creativity, imagination,
and consciousness?

Cause and effect, karma, fate,
and destiny.

Each or all of them?

Each and all of them.

Tranquility is a Vulnerable State of Mind

Today’ I Ching is 11 – Tranquility.

Earth over Heaven

Tranquility follows Treading in the order of the hexagrams, and,

Spirit tells me, there is order in our lives, individual and

Collective.

Spirit explains: Trading expresses walking our individual path

Through life, our way; our chosen way. No other can do it for us.

No other can live our life but us.

Where does Tranquility come in?

Tranquility is a state of mind.

How can we move forward, or even backward, in a state of

Tranquility? We would surely be vulnerable to control by

Someone or something less tranquil.

Yes.

I Ching 11 – Tranquility

Today’s I Ching is Tranquility, an atmosphere of peace and

Contentment.

Tranquility follows Treading, which is movement. Now it is

Time for rest, but not a prolonged time of inactivity.

The I Ching teaches us that Life expands and moves.

Is there a personal message?

Yes.

What is it?

There is no need to hurry. We will arrive where we intend to,

When we intend to.

Where?

Wait and see.

I Ching 12 – Obstruction

Today’s I Ching – 12 – Obstruction

Heaven above. Earth below.

Obstruction follows Tranquility.

Spirit explains:

Tranquility  suggests calm seas and a gentle breeze.

Whatever obstruction was in the past in not now.

Storms have blown themselves out or away.

This is a time of peace and yet  we know that other storms

Will surely come. They are part of what Life is, experience,

And serve to teach us strengths, and inform us of

Our weaknesses.

Hang in there?

Yes.

I Ching 11 – Tranquility

Today’s I Ching – 11 – Tranquility

Earth above, Heaven below.

Tranquility follows Treading.

Spirit explains, but first asks me if I have ever experienced tranquility?

Not that I’m aware of.

Tranquility requires, He tells me, awareness that

Moving through life experiences is treading on

Sacred ground.

Then why is this sacred ground so rough and

Unfeeling?

It is what we make it.

Then I should pretend that all is well?

Pretense is an illusion.

Then, what is real?

We are.

Individually or collectively?

Yes.

I Ching 12 – Obstruction

Today’s I Ching – 12 – Obstruction

Heaven above, Earth below

Obstruction follows Tranquility in the order of the Hexagrams.

Spirit explains:

Tranquility doesn’t last, nor does a calm before a storm.

I interrupt, in panic. Is there a general application to Your reading, or, is it specific, to me?

Be prepared.

How?

He drops our pen. Communication is over.

I’m going back to bed.
